Put it in the calendar, Saturday, July 5th, 2025! We would love to invite you to celebrate our wedding in Fredrikstad, Norway—Runa’s hometown. You can expect a cozy ceremony, fun lawn games, a cocktail hour, a BBQ feast, heartfelt speeches, dancing, and maybe even some midnight pølse!

We’d also love for you to kick off the festivities with us on Friday, July 4th in Fredrikstad, for some casual drinks somewhere in the city. Stay tuned for more details!

We know many of our loved ones will be travelling from afar, and we truly appreciate the effort! Why not turn this into an adventure? We’ve put together a rough itinerary with dates and suggestions for activities to make the most of your trip.

To help us get an idea of who can make it, please take a quick look at the itinerary and check flights and accommodations. We recommend searching for flights to Oslo Gardermoen (not Oslo Torp, which is 2 hours away from Fredrikstad in the opposite direction). We totally understand if, given current uncertainties, you can’t join us in Norway and if it’s not in the cards for the wedding we hope we can meet up with you soon!

Travel Tips:

• Flights: Check for options to Oslo Gardermoen.

• Airbnb & Hotels: Search for accommodation in Fredrikstad for the weekend of July 5th, but also Oslo the week before if you can!

Since we want to keep a party vibe for the wedding, we hope you can take this opportunity to find babysitters and join us on the dance floor until late. This will be an adult-only event for named guests.

+1’s - Due to limited capacity, we are unfortunately unable to extend invitations to everyone we would like to have with us, including even some of our closest friends and family. As a result, we are unable to offer plus-ones to all invitees. Only those specifically invited will be able to attend the reception. We hope you understand.
